Lopas

The Lopas ( ἡ λοπάς , Pl. Λοπάδες ) was an ancient Greek ceramic form. It was a flat, tub-shaped vessel with two handles, a lid and often with a long handle. The round shape had an average diameter of 20 centimeters. Lopase are also known from literary tradition.
