Klingermühle is a part of the municipality of Bessenbach in the district of Aschaffenburg . In 2010, 20 people lived there.

geography

The district, which consists of a dozen buildings, is located in the district of Straßbessenbach , on the Bessenbach , a left tributary of the Aschaff in the Spessart in Lower Franconia . The center of Straßbessenbach is approx. 700 m to the south and Keilberg is approx. 1 km to the north. The hamlet is 177 m above sea level. NN.

history

The eponymous mill building dates from 1815, as can be seen from the year on a door frame. After one of its owners, Peter Kneisel (1825–1910), it is still sometimes referred to as the Kneiselsmühle. It was operated as a flour and oil mill ( rape ) and stopped working in 1980.
