The Klinglesmühle is one of 24 districts of the Baden-Württemberg community Stimpfach , which is located in the Schwäbisch Hall district .

geography

The homestead is located on the western bank of the approximately 300 meter long Mühlkanal to the right of the Reiglersbach , which runs roughly south here, in its meadow valley, which is mainly wide to the west, at an altitude of 443  m above sea level. The Klinglesmühle is about six kilometers from the municipality's main town, Stimpfach, to the southwest, the nearest towns are the Stimpfach hamlet Gerbertshofen about ¾ km downstream, the Stimpfacher Hof Nestleinsberg about ¾ km west on the right slope, the Mittelmühle residential area in the Westgartshausen district of Crailsheim about ½ km upstream and the hamlet of Großenhub in the Fichtenau community about ¾ km east on the plateau to the left of the valley.

The Klinglesmühle was originally an estate; it was first mentioned in a document in 1429 under the name Hof zu der Klingen . In 1461 the farm was acquired by the imperial city of Dinkelsbühl and then converted into a mill. When the existence of the imperial city came to an end with the Reichsdeputationshauptschluss 1802/1803, the Klinglesmühle came into the possession of the Kingdom of Württemberg and then belonged to the newly created Oberamt Crailsheim . As a result of the administrative reforms carried out in the Kingdom of Württemberg at the beginning of the 19th century , the place became part of the independent rural community of Weipertshofen , which also included the hamlets of Gerbertshofen and Steinbach am Wald as well as the farms of Hochbronn , Käsbach , Lixhof , Nestleinsberg and Sixenmühle . The homestead has been part of Stimpfach since 1975, after the entire community of Weipertshofen was integrated into the community of Stimpfach as part of the municipal territorial reform. In 2010 the Klinglesmühle had twelve residents.

The connection to the public road network is mainly provided by the K 2645 district road coming from Wittau and continuing to Gerbertshofen . A community road branches off from this district road on the southern outskirts and leads in an eastward direction via Großenhub to Wäldershub , where it joins the state road L 1070 . Another road runs up the valley to the north to the L 2218 near Kreßberg - Neuhaus .
