Simultaneously with the construction of the monastery, the construction of the church (today basilica) Ste-Marie-Madeleine began . The Dominican Convention lasted until it was dispersed by the French Revolution .

Today there is a hotel in the preserved monastery buildings. From 1926 to 1933 Alex-Ceslas Rzewuski belonged to the convent, from 1932 Jean Bottéro for around 10 years .
