Kołata is a village in the municipality of Pobiedziska in the Poznański powiat in the Greater Poland Voivodeship in western central Poland with a Schulzenamt . The place is located about 5 km northwest of Pobiedziska and 23 km northeast of the regional capital Poznań .

The place borders on the nature park Puszcza Zielonka .

history

After the second partition of Poland in 1793, the place belonged to the Schroda district and from January 4, 1900 to the Posen-Ost district . The community encyclopedia for the Kingdom of Prussia from 1905 lists 21 inhabited houses on 511.1 hectares under the name Kolatta. The 178 residents, made up of 95 German-speaking Protestants and 83 Polish-speaking Catholics, were divided into 31 multi-person households and two residents with their own household. The Protestant parish belonged to the Jerzykowo parish, the Catholic to the Wronczyn parish . For January 1, 1908, it is stated that the place was part of the Pudewitz police district . On December 1, 1910, the place had 197 inhabitants. With the occupation by Germany in World War II , the place was renamed on October 26, 1939 from Kolata to Kolatta and then to Pochhammer .

From 1975 to 1998 the place belonged to the Poznan Voivodeship . The towns of Kołatka , Kowalskie and Skorzęcin also belong to the Schulzenamt.
