The Wacholderberg is one of the oldest and the smallest former nature reserve in Saarland . It is located on the German-French border in the Gersheim district of Medelsheim .

The Wacholderberg is a 0.6 hectare dry meadow on a south-facing hillside, on which pasquets ( Pulsatilla vulgaris ) grow in large numbers . The area was designated a nature reserve on October 30, 1969. In 2017 the area was integrated into the newly created nature reserve Bickenalbtal.
