The Neuhäuseler Arm is a nature reserve in the Saarpfalz district in Saarland . The Kirkeler Bach flows through it.

The Neuhäuseler Arm is located in the Kirkel district near the Neuhäusel district, north of the railway line. The area was designated a nature reserve on December 18, 1990.

Protection purpose

The protective purpose is named:

“The preservation, promotion and development of oligotrophic communities on the Niedermoor site - e.g. wet meadow, sedge reed and water silting zones - of underwater lawns, floating leaf communities and near-natural local deciduous forests, that is, grove-beech forest with transitions to alder-break forest .

These closely interlinked high-quality locations are intended to offer a variety of plant and animal species, including numerous rare and endangered, suitable habitats.
