The Kohlberg is 528  m above sea level. NHN high elevation in the inner Fichtelgebirge plateau . It is located in the district of Leimata near Garmersreuth in Upper Franconia in the Bavarian district of Wunsiedel in the Fichtel Mountains . The wooded mountain consists of northwest ( 528  m ) and southeast ( 524  m ).

Geographical location

The Kohlberg rises in the southeast part of the Fichtelgebirge in the east of the Fichtelgebirge Nature Park . Its summit, located in the urban area of Arzberg , is 1 km south-southwest of Garmersreuth and 2.1 km north-west of Seußen , two districts of Arzberg, and 1.2 km north of Korbersdorf , a district of Marktredwitz , and 1.7 km southeast of Grafenreuth , a district of Thiersheim . The mountain is passed in the south by the Röslau tributary Leimatbach .

Beyond the federal highway 303, which runs to the east, there is another Kohlberg ( 633  m ) at the center of Arzberger, 3.7 km away .
