The Kohylnyk ( Ukrainian Когильник , Romanian Cogâlnic or Cogilnic , Russian Когыльник Kogylnik ), German also Kogelnik , is a 243 km long tributary to Lake Sassyk in Bessarabia .

It rises in the Moldovan Nisporeni Rajon near the Hîncu monastery and flows in a south-easterly direction to overflow the border with the Ukrainian Odessa oblast after 125 km . Within the Ukraine, it covers the last 118 kilometers of the river and finally flows into Lake Sassyk on the Black Sea . The catchment area of ​​the Kohylnyk is 3910 km².
