Kōji Miyoshi ( Japanese 三好 康 児 , Miyoshi Kōji ; born March 26, 1997 in Kanagawa Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .

Career

Miyoshi learned to play soccer on the Kawasaki Frontale youth team . He signed his first contract with Kawasaki Frontale in 2015. The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . In 2015 he played eight times in the J.League U-22 Selection . This team, which played in the third division, the J3 League , was made up of the best young players from the higher-class clubs. The team was founded with a view to the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro . The players were selected on a weekly basis from a pool for which each club was able to name talented individuals worth promoting; the composition of the team therefore varied greatly from game to game. For the club he completed 31 first division games. With the club he became Japanese champion in 2017 . In 2018 he was loaned to the first division club Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo . For the club he completed 26 first division games. In 2019 he was loaned to the first division club Yokohama F. Marinos . For the club he completed 19 first division games. For the 2019/20 season, Miyoshi moved to the Belgian first division club Royal Antwerp . It was his first contract in Europe.

National team

In 2019, Miyoshi made his debut for the Japanese national soccer team . He has played a total of three international matches for Japan.
