Kolonia Gosławicka (German colony Goslawitz . 1936–1945 Ehrenfeld settlement ) is a district of the independent city of Opole in the Polish Opole Voivodeship .

Geographical location

Kolonia Gosławicka is about five kilometers east of downtown Opole. The village is crossed and bounded by the state roads Droga krajowa 46 and Droga krajowa 94 and the provincial road Droga wojewódzka 423 . The railway line between Opole and Kluczbork runs through Kolonia Gosławicka and, in the south, the line between Opole and the Upper Silesian industrial area . The Malina stream runs to the east .

Kolonia Gosławicka borders in the west on the housing estate osiedle Malinka , in the north-west on Gosławice and in the south on Grudzice .

history

The colony emerged in the 19th century. In 1864 it was named as the Goslawitz colony. Until the end of the 19th century, the Kalichtich was north of the village .

After the referendum in Upper Silesia on March 20, 1921, the Goslawitz colony remained with the German Reich . When Goslawitz was renamed Ehrenfeld in 1936, the Goslawitz colony was renamed Ehrenfeld settlement . Until 1945 the place was in the district of Opole .

In 1945 the previously German place came under Polish administration, was renamed Kolonia Gosławicka and joined the Silesian Voivodeship. In 1950 the place came to the Opole Voivodeship . In 1961 the place was incorporated into the city of Opole by the Powiat Opolski . The Catholic Church was built from 1977 to 1982.
