Konawe Selatan (German: Südkonawe ) is a government district ( Kabupaten ) on the Indonesian island of Sulawesi . The district is part of the Sulawesi Tenggara Province ( Southeast Sulawesi ). 264,197 inhabitants live here (2010).

Konawe Selatan has an area of ​​4,514.21 km². The capital is Andoolo . The island of Wawonii also belonged to the district until 2013 .

Administrative division

In 2013, Wawonii Island was spun off as the new Konawe Kepulauan District . The Konawe Selatan district consists of 22 administrative districts ( Kecamatan ) and 296 Kelurahan (as of 2010):
