The Kongma Tse (also Khongma Tse ; formerly Mehra Peak ) is a peak in the Mahalangur Himal in eastern Nepal .

The Kongma Tse is a so-called trekking summit . It is located in the Khumbu region, 9.8 km west-southwest of Mount Everest , and has an altitude of 5849  m (according to other sources 5820  m ). The peak falls into the "B" category of climbing peaks according to the Mountaineers Association of Nepal . The Kongma Tse rises north of the Kongma La saddle , which is 5585  m high . Beyond this there is also a trekking summit, the 5806  m high Pokalde . The Kongma Tse lies on a ridge that runs from the Nuptse in a south-westerly direction and separates the Nuptsegletscher in the east from the Khumbu glacier in the west. To the west of Kongma Tse is the Lobuche settlement . In the upper area of the north face of Kongma Tse there is a smaller hanging glacier . Below that, the rock faces fall steeply downhill. Below the hanging glacier, a diagonal ice channel cuts through the north face.

The Kongma Tse offers a view of the Pumori and Lho La Pass. The easiest ascent leads from the lakes east of Kongma La along the edge of the slope glaciers to the summit. The best times of the year for an ascent are in the periods March – May and September – December.
