Koray Kaçınoğlu [ ˈkat͡ʃɯˌnoːlu ] (born July 20, 1994 in Krefeld ) is a German football player .

Career

societies

Kaçınoğlu was born in Krefeld . In his youth he played for MSV Duisburg . In the summer of 2011 he moved to the youth team at 1. FC Köln . He stayed here until 2012 and then moved to the club's second team , for which he played 17 times and scored one goal. In the 2013/14 season he was part of the squad of the first team that rose to the Bundesliga at the end of the season . Kaçınoğlu was not used in the first team and moved in the summer of 2014 to the promoted team in the Turkish second division , Altınordu Izmir , for which he only played one game. In January 2015 he returned to Germany for SG Wattenscheid 09 in the Regionalliga West . In the 1-0 win against Rot-Weiß Oberhausen on February 10, 2015, Kaçınoğlu played his first game for SG Wattenscheid. For the 2016/17 season he left the club and was signed by the regional league competitor SV Rödinghausen . After the season 201/18 he left SV Rödinghausen and was initially without a club. In January 2019, the Bonner SC signed him . In July 2019, he joined VfB Homberg , which he left again a year later after the season that had been canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic with an unknown destination.

National team

Kaçınoğlu decided early on to play for the DFB and not for the Turkish association . He played for the German U-16 , U-17 , U-18 and U-19 selection. He completed a short assignment at the 2011 U-17 World Cup in Mexico.
