The 1993 Korea Open in Badminton took place from January 20 to 24, 1993 at the Seoul National University Gymnasium in Seoul . The prize money was $ 110,000. It was the 3rd edition of the Korea Open. The main sponsor of the tournament was Yonex . The tournament had five-star status in the World Badminton Grand Prix . 230 players from 19 countries took part in the tournament, which was televised by KBS.
