Korea Open 2004
The Korea Open 2004 in badminton took place from March 30th to April 4th 2004 in the Choongjoo Indoor Hall in Chungju . The prize money was $ 200,000. The tournament thus had a five-star status in the World Badminton Grand Prix . The main sponsors of the tournament were Daekyo and Noonnoppi. 363 players from 31 countries took part in the tournament, which was televised by MBC, CCTV, SCV, HKTV and ASTRO in eight countries. It was the 13th edition of these international championships in South Korea.
