Kostjantyniwka ( Ukrainian Костянтинівка ; Russian Константиновка Konstantinowka ) is a village in the Ukrainian Oblast of Kherson with about 1030 inhabitants (2018).

The village was founded in 1862 by 23 families from the Kiev Governorate . A church and a four-class school with three teachers and around 90 students were built in the village in 1880. At the 2001 census, the village had 1,455 inhabitants.

Geographical location

The village is located at an altitude of 54  m , 30 km southeast of the Hornostayivka district center and about 115 km east of the Kherson Oblast center . Kostjantyniwka has a train station on the railway line between Nowa Kachowka and Nowobohdaniwka . The M 14 / E 58 trunk road runs 12 km south of the village .

The area boasts some next Kostiantynivka, the villages Antoniwka ( Антонівка ) with 393 inhabitants, Bratoljubiwka ( Братолюбівка ) with 316 inhabitants, Dubiwka ( Дубівка ) with 796 inhabitants, Saporiske ( Запорізьке ) with 117 inhabitants, Sirka ( Зірка ) with 233 inhabitants, Mykolaivs'ka ( Миколаївка ) with 136 inhabitants, Starolukjaniwka ( Старолук'янівка ) with 223 inhabitants and Tscherwona Polyana ( Червона Поляна ) with 619 inhabitants.

Until then, Kostjantyniwka was the administrative center of the district council of the same name , to which the villages of Bratolyubivka ( ) and Mykolaivka ( ) belonged.
