tourism
There are currently no marked hiking trails on the Kotelnica. The planned ridge path was never completed. The mountain huts Schronisko PTTK nad Morskim Okiem and Schronisko PTTK w Dolinie Pięciu Stawów Polskich are suitable as a starting point for this . On the adjacent Gładka Przełęcz mountain pass, an unmarked hiking trail leads from the Polish side and a marked hiking trail from the Slovak side.
