tourism
There are currently no marked hiking trails on the Glatten Berg. The planned ridge path was never completed. However, a yellow-marked hiking trail leads north below the summit from the Szpiglasowa Przełęcz mountain pass into the Dolina Pięciu Stawów Polskich valley . The mountain huts Schronisko PTTK nad Morskim Okiem and Schronisko PTTK w Dolinie Pięciu Stawów Polskich are suitable as a starting point for this . An unmarked hiking trail leads to the nearby Gładka Przełęcz mountain pass from the Polish side and a marked trail from the Slovak side.
In the years 1929–1930 a weather station of the Kraków Jagiellonian University was built on the mountain . It no longer exists.
