Krasne ( Ukrainian Красне ; Russian Красное Krasnoje ) is a village on the Black Sea in the south of the Ukrainian Oblast of Kherson with about 3000 inhabitants.
The village, founded in 1806, is located 12 km west of the district center Skadowsk on the bank of the Jarylhatsch Bay , the northern part of the Karkinitska Bay , a Ramsar area in Ukraine . The oblast capital Kherson is about 100 km north of the village.
The settlement Stepne (ukr. Степне ) with about 10 inhabitants belongs to the district council of Krasne, whose administrative center is the village .
