Krešimir Ivanković (born April 12, 1980 in Zagreb , Yugoslavia ) is a former Croatian handball player . His body length is 1.87 m.

Krešimir Ivanković, who last played for HC Empor Rostock in the 2nd handball league and ran for the Croatian national team, was mostly used in the center of the back .

Krešimir Ivanković played since his youth at RK Zagreb and played his first league games there. With Zagreb he won the national championship in 1999, 2000 and 2001 and the Croatian Cup in 1999 and 2000. However, he got only a few operating times, so in 2001 he moved to rival RK Agram Medveščak Zagreb. There he won no other titles; therefore he moved in 2005 for one season to RK Celje in Slovenia. With the men from the Slovenian Styria he won the championship and cup in 2006; after that he returned to Zagreb. When his club got into arrears, however, Ivanković decided - after he had also auditioned for the Kadetten Schaffhausen and HSG Düsseldorf - to switch to HSG Wetzlar in the German handball league . He stayed there for two years before he became superfluous with the engagement of Chen Pomeranz and moved on to the Romanian master HCM Constanța .

Krešimir Ivanković has made 15 appearances for the Croatian national team. But he never took part in a major tournament for his country.

Krešimir Ivanković is a brother-in-law of Vedran Zrnić .
