The Karcag District (Hungarian Karcagi járás ) is a district in the east of the central Hungarian Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok County . It borders on the districts of Mezőtúr , Törökszentmiklós , Kunhegyes and Tiszafüred in the southwest, west and north. In the east, which forms Hajdú-Bihar and in the southeast the Békés the border.
history
In the course of the Hungarian administrative reform in early 2013, the district emerged as the successor to the small area of the same name ( Karcagi kistérség in Hungarian ) with all 5 municipalities.
