The district of Siklós (Hungarian Siklósi járás ) is the southernmost district of Hungary and is located in Baranya County . It was formed as part of the Hungarian administrative reform at the beginning of 2013 from the dissolved Siklós (Hungarian Siklósi kistérség ) small area with all 53 municipalities. In the south there are 13 municipalities bordering the neighboring state of Croatia , including Hungary's southernmost municipality Beremend . The population density of the second largest district is below that of the county .
