The county Komló (Hungarian Komlói járás ) is a district in the north of the southern Hungarian Baranya County . It borders on Tolna County to the east . The district is the successor to the small area of ​​the same name that was dissolved at the end of 2012 (Hungarian Komlói kistérleg ). At the turn of the year 2012/2013 the following exchange of territory took place: the municipality of Hosszúhetény moved from the small area Komló to the district of Pécs . For this, two communities ( Bikal and Oroszló ) came from the small area of ​​Sásd (Hungarian Sásdi kistérlég ) to the new Komló district. After Pécs, the district has the second highest population density in the county. The district seat is the mining town Komló in the south of the district.
