Sásd small area
The small area Sásd ( Hungarian Sásdi kistérség ) was a Hungarian administrative unit ( LAU 1) within Baranya County in southern Transdanubia until the end of 2012 . In the course of the administrative reform of 2013, 25 localities were taken over into the newly created district of Hegyhát (Hungarian Hegyháti járás ) with the administrative seat Sásd . The communities Bikal and Oroszló were assigned to the Komló (Hungarian Komlói járás ) district.
At the end of 2012, 13,737 inhabitants lived in an area of 383.87 km², the administrative seat was the city of Sásd .
