Mágocs (German: Magotsch , Croatian Magoč ) is a small town in Hungary . The settlement with about 2500 inhabitants (2008) is located in the northern part of Baranya County . The climate is relatively mild in both summer and winter. The annual average temperature is 10 to 10.5 ° C.
traffic
The only public road to the neighboring village of Alsómocsolád is via Mágocs. There is a train station 5 km from the village on the Dombóvár - Bátaszék railway line, built in 1872 . Dombóvár, the next larger town, is about 7 km away.
