The small area Mohács ( Hungarian Mohácsi kistérség ) was a Hungarian administrative unit ( LAU 1) within Baranya County in southern Transdanubia until the end of 2012 and consisted of 43 localities. In the course of the administrative reform of 2013 the small area was divided into the district Mohács (Hungarian Mohácsi járás ) (26) and the newly created district Bóly (Hungarian Bólyi járás ) (16), the municipality of Geresdlak changed to the district Pécsvárad (Hungarian Pécsváradi járás ).

47,587 inhabitants lived in an area of ​​846.29 km² (end of 2012). The administrative seat was in the city of Mohács (17.738 Ew.). The second largest town in the small area was the city of Bóly with 3,974 inhabitants
