The Kreuzspitze is a 3155  m above sea level. A. high mountain in the Venediger group and one of the highest alpine peaks in East Tyrol, which can be climbed without having to climb a glacier. The summit can be reached from Prägraten via the Sajathütte and from there via a path partly blasted out of the vertical rock or, more easily, via a normal ascent from the Johannishütte in Hinterbichler Dorfertal or from the Eisseehütte in Timmeltal via Zopetscharte and Tulpspitze .
