The rose variety 'Kristall' (syn. 'Kristal') is a bright, pure white floribunda rose that was bred by Anni Berger and launched in 1979 by the horticultural production cooperative Roter Oktober Bad Langensalza (Thuringia). It comes from the white floribunda roses ' Tiara '(Börner 1960) and ' Schneewittchen ' ( W. Kordes' Sons 1958).

The bushy, upright growing rose 'Kristall' forms a strong, compact shrub. The rose plant is about 50 cm to a maximum of 100 cm high and 40 to 50 cm wide. The pure white flowers, arranged in small clusters, are formed from 17 to 25 petals . They form a 5 to 10 cm large, double rose blossom. The highly open rosebud later opens into a symmetrically filled, bowl-shaped flower, in the middle of which the yellow-orange stamens become visible. The rose variety has 4 to 8 cm long, oval-shaped, leathery, glossy, dark green leaves. The rose variety 'Kristall' is characterized by a light, fruity fragrance.

The remontant floribunda rose is hardy ( USDA climate zones 6b to 9b). It blooms continuously from June until the first frost and is resistant to the known rose diseases .

The rose variety 'Kristall' thrives on loamy - humus soil in sunny to partially shaded locations. It is suitable for planting beds in groups and as an outdoor cut rose.

The rose variety is grown in numerous rosariums and gardens, including the Europa-Rosarium Sangerhausen , the Deutsches Rosarium Dortmund , the Cliff's High Desert Garden Archival Dec (California), the Carla Fineschi Foundation Rose Garden (Tuscany), the Reinhausen Rose Park and the rose gardens shown in Bad Langensalza, Forst and Dresden .
