Kristian-Joy Alfonso (born September 5, 1963 in Brockton , Massachusetts ) is an American actress .

Life

Alfonso is the daughter of Puerto Rican parents. She attended high school in her hometown of Brockton , where she graduated in 1982.

Sports career

Alfonso was a dedicated and successful figure skater in her youth. She won the gold medal in figure skating at the "AAU Junior Olympic Games", the youth games of the American amateur sports associations. At the age of 13, she ended her ice skating career after a toboggan accident.

Model career

Then she switched to the fashion industry as a catwalk model . At the age of 15, she was featured on the covers of over 30 magazines, including Seventeen Magazine , Vogue and Harpers Bazaar . In 2011 she worked for the talent show and casting agency "Talent America" ​​in New York City and worked as a scout and judge for several competitions.

Acting career
