Kriwoscheino ( Russian Кривошеино ) is a village (selo) in the Tomsk Oblast in Russia with 5469 inhabitants (as of October 14, 2010).
geography
The place is located about 110 km as the crow flies northwest of the Tomsk Oblast Administrative Center in the southeastern part of the West Siberian lowlands . It is located on the left bank of the Ob , whose two arms of approximately the same size, which flow around the 17 km long island of Tashjan, reunite immediately below the village.
Kriwoscheino is the administrative center of the Rajons Kriwoscheinski and seat of the rural community Kriwoscheinskoje selskoje posselenije, (11 km northwest) (7 km north) are among the also the villages Nowoislambul and Schukowo.
history
The village was founded in 1826. Since July 12, 1924, Krivoscheino has been the administrative seat of a Rajon named after him.

To the west of the village runs the regional road 69K-2, which connects Tomsk with the city of Kolpaschewo , about 125 km north-northwest of Krivoscheino . The nearest train station is also in Tomsk. The village has a dock on the Ob.
