The Krupá flows into the March |
The Krupá ( German Graupa ) is a left tributary of the March in the Czech Republic.
geography
The Krupá rises in the Glatzer Schneegebirge on the western slope of the Chlupenkovec ( Rauschbeerhübel , 980 m ) and initially flows westwards through the Schwarzer Graben. Below the Platzenberger Pass ( Kladské sedlo / Przełęcz Płoszczyna ) a right source stream flows from the Rykowisko ( Wolfsberg ). The run then heads south via Seninka, Nová Seninka , Nový Rumburk, Květná, Staré Město to Vysoké Žibřidovice . Here the Krupá forms a narrow rocky valley and flows into the March between Žleb and Hanušovice below Ptáčník ( Vogelstein , 645 m ) after 19.2 kilometers at the Hanušovice zastávka train station .
The Hanušovice – Staré Měst railway runs between Hanušovice zastávka and Staré Město through the valley of the river.
