Krzysztof Lijewski (born July 7, 1983 in Ostrów Wielkopolski , Poland ) is a Polish national handball player .

Career

Together with his brother Marcin , who also played for HSV Hamburg from the 2008/2009 season , he was runner- up with the Polish national team at the 2007 World Cup in Germany. He was elected to the All-Star Team at the 2014 European Championship .

Krzysztof Lijewski played for HSV Hamburg from 2005 to 2011 . After he was hardly used in the 2010/11 season after shoulder surgery, he moved to the Rhein-Neckar Löwen for the 2011/12 season . Since the 2012/13 season he, like his teammates Karol Bielecki and Ivan Čupić , has been playing for the Polish club KS Kielce .
