Kurt Wiechert

Kurt Wiechert (born July 12, 1880 in Preußisch Stargard ; † July 8, 1934 in Potsdam ) was a German administrative lawyer.

Life

Wiechert, son of the manor owner and later pensioner Franz Wiechert in Preussisch Stargard, studied law at the Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg . In 1899 he - like Carl Simons , Hans Kühl , Eugen Simon and Otto Hermann Steche  - was recipients of the Corps Hasso-Borussia . In two semesters he distinguished himself as a senior . In 1903 he was at the University of Leipzig to Dr. phil. PhD. In 1910 he was a government assessor in Gelnhausen . On July 1, 1915, he was appointed provisionally , and on January 24, 1916, he was finally appointed district administrator in the Angerburg district. On August 13, 1918, he married Hildegard Mathilde Luise Schmölder, daughter of the late factory owner Karl Julius Schmölder, in Rheydt. He survived the November Revolution and did not leave office until 1920. In March 1920, he was transferred to the Kapp Putsch to the government to Potsdam, where he served as Councilor worked. He died at the age of 54.
