Kwame Adzenyina Yeboah (born June 2, 1994 in Gold Coast ) is an Australian football player .

Career

Yeboah played at the Queensland Academy of Sport for several years . In the 2011/12 season he was active for the youth team of Gold Coast United in the National Youth League ; for the 2012/13 season he moved to the youth team from Brisbane Roar . After the striker made his debut for the professional team in the A-League on February 17, 2013 by substitution against Wellington Phoenix , he signed a professional contract for the 2013/14 season , as did his junior team-mate Ben Litfin .

On January 1, 2014, Yeboah moved to Borussia Mönchengladbach . There he originally had a professional contract that ran until June 30, 2019, but was only used in the second team , through which he was to be introduced to the professional team. On January 22nd, 2018 he was awarded to SC Paderborn 07 in the 3rd division until the end of the season , to whose promotion he contributed two goals in eleven missions.

For the 2018/19 season he moved to third division club SC Fortuna Köln . At the end of 2018, the contract with Fortuna was terminated and he joined the Australian first division club Western Sydney Wanderers shortly afterwards .

National team

In 2009 and 2010 Yeboah was part of the squad of the Australian U17 selection and took part with the team in the 2010 U16 Asian Championship , at the U-17 World Championship that took place a year later , he was not part of the squad. In May 2013, Yeboah was invited by the Australian Federation to a training camp in preparation for the 2013 U-20 World Cup . But it was not enough to be accepted into the tournament squad.
