Rabov (German Rappauf ) is a desert on the cadastre of the Pleš part of Bělá nad Radbuzou in Okres Domažlice in West Bohemia in the Czech Republic .

The hamlet of Rabov was on the road connecting Pleš to Václav. Today (2013) there are pastures here and a plaque commemorates this submerged settlement.

history

Rappauf was also called "Auf der Hütten" in old times. This is where the Plößer Hütte, mentioned in a complaint from the Choden in the 16th century, stood , where glass beads for rosaries , embroidery beads and winding beads were made. These glass beads were also known as paternoster beads or paterln for short. Thereafter the Plößer hut was also called the Paterl hut. In the 18th century, the Plößer Hütte was listed in the inventory of Heiligenkreuz and Georg Wolfgang Schmaus from Pullenried was named as its administrator. In 1913 5 houses are mentioned in Rappauf. In 1945 there were 16 houses in Rappauf and 17 residents are named.
