Černá Hora (German: Tschernahora ) is a part of the municipality of Bělá nad Radbuzou in Okres Domažlice in West Bohemia in the Czech Republic .

Geographical location

Černá Hora is located on the northern slope of the 662 meter high Černá hora about three kilometers northeast of Bělá.

history

The name Černá Hora literally means Black Mountain. The German name Tschernahora reflects the Czech pronunciation in German spelling.

Černá Hora was first mentioned in writing in 1413. In 1656 Černá Hora had 5 farmers, 3 chalupners, a gardener, 20 teams, 12 cows, 16 young cattle, 2 sheep and 25 pigs.

In 1789 Černá Hora belonged to the Hostau estate and the Trauttmansdorff estate in Bischofteinitz and had 15 houses. In 1839 there were 17 houses and 111 inhabitants in Černá Hora, in 1913 there were 22 houses and 121 inhabitants. Černá Hora belonged to the parish of Bělá.

After the Munich Agreement , Černá Hora was added to the German Empire and until 1945 belonged to the Bischofteinitz district .
