Kyle Brown (born October 22, 1989 in Concord , New Hampshire ) is an American skeleton pilot .

Career

Kyle Brown grew up in Concord and studied at Springfield College in Springfield ( Massachusetts ) sports science. In addition to competitive sports, he works as a strength and personal trainer in Woburn . He played ice hockey , American football and athletics during his school and university days and joined the sport of skeleton in 2012 when he tried to do an internship at the Olympic base in Lake Placid .

At the end of 2013, Brown started for the first time in an international race in the North American Cup and already finished on the podium in January 2014 with two third places in Lake Placid. In the 2014/15 season he started in the European Cup and achieved a seventh place as the best result in Winterberg , before making his debut in the World Cup in Altenberg in January 2015 . In his four starts in the top racing series, a 16th place in St. Moritz was his best result. At the end of the season he won silver behind Matthew Antoine at the US championships . In 2015/16 Brown started the winter with two third places in the Intercontinental Cup and in January 2016 achieved his best result in the World Cup with a sixth place on his home track in Lake Placid .
