Kyrylo Oleksandrowytsch Katrytsch ( Ukrainian Кирило Олександрович Катрич ; born April 3, 1984 in Kiev , Ukrainian SSR , Soviet Union ) is a Ukrainian ice hockey player who has been under contract with HK Krywbass in the Ukrainian ice hockey league since 2016 .

Career

Club

Kyrylo Katrych started his career as a hockey player in the youth department of Ldinka Kiev . From 2001 to 2006 he played for HK Kiev in the Ukrainian league and the B group of the East European Hockey League . He was the best preparer of the Ukrainian league in the 2003/04 season . In his last season for HK Kiev he also played for HK Sokil Kiev in the Belarusian ice hockey league . From 2006 to 2008 he played for Sokil in addition to the missions in Belarus also in the Ukrainian league and won the Ukrainian championship with the club in 2008 . After this success he moved to CS Progym Gheorgheni in the MOL league , but left the club after 10 games and moved to the United States, where he worked for the Battle Creek Revolution and Chicago Blaze from the All American Hockey League and the Quad until 2010 City Mallards from the International Hockey League played. He then returned to Ukraine and played for HK Sokil for two more years. In the following years he played for HK Levy Lviv , HK Kompanjon-Naftohas Kiew , with whom he was Ukrainian champion in 2014, HC Viking Tallinn from the Estonian league and HK Donbass Donetsk , with which he won his third championship title in 2016 won. He has been playing at HK Krywbass since 2016 .

International

With the Ukrainian U20 selection Katrytsch took part in the Junior World Championship of the top division in 2004 . However , it was 13 years before his debut in the men's national team . It was not until he was 33 that he took part in the 2017 Division I World Championship . Also in 2018 he played in Division I.
