Lærke Winther Møller (born January 14, 1989 in Aalborg ) is a former Danish handball player . The 1.72 m tall back player most recently played for the Danish first division team Esbjerg .

Career

Lærke Møller started playing handball at the age of seven. At the age of 16 she made her debut for Aalborg DH in the highest Danish handball league and in the EHF Champions League . With Aalborg she was in the final of the Danish championship 2009, but failed there at Viborg HK . In the summer of 2009 Møller moved to league rivals FC Midtjylland Håndbold . With the FCM, Møller won the EHF Cup in 2011, the championship in 2011 and 2013 and the Danish Cup in 2012. In October 2013, she had a knee operation, which meant that she had to take a six to seven month break. From the 2014/15 season she ran for Team Tvis Holstebro . With Holstebro, she won the EHF Cup in 2015 and the European Cup Winners ' Cup in 2016 . From summer 2016 she was under contract with Team Esbjerg . With Esbjerg she won the Danish Cup in 2017. In March 2018, she had to end her career.

For the Danish national team , Møller played 51 international matches, in which they scored 139 goals. With the national team she took part in the European Championships in Macedonia in 2008. She had to cancel the start of the 2009 women's handball world championship in China shortly before the start of the tournament due to injury.

Lærke Møller is in a relationship with the Danish soccer player Thomas Enevoldsen .
