Lüleburgaz ( Bergula , Greek Arkadiupolis , Bulgarian Люлебургас / Ljuleburgas , Latin Arcadiopolis ) is a district in the province of Kırklareli .
geography
The main town of the district is the city of the same name . The county is the most populous in the province and also has the highest population density . It borders on Babaeski County to the west , Pınarhisar County to the north, and Vize County to the east . The province of Tekirdağ forms the southern border with three districts.
In addition to the district town (2018: almost 80% of the district's population), the district consists of three other Belediye (communities): Ahmetbey (3899), Büyükkarıştıran (5953) and Evrensekiz (2927 pop .). The district also has 31 villages ( Köy ) with an average of 565 inhabitants (the highest number in the province). Six villages have more than 1000 inhabitants: Kırıkköy (1695), Celaliye (1285), Hamitabat (1181), Sakızköy (1151), Düğüncübaşı (1021) and Turgutbey (1014).
