criticism

The Laut.de e-zine rated LAX with four out of a possible five points. According to the editor Simon Müller, “ the self-proclaimed Dr. Dre successor seamlessly continues its west coast revival and wakes up pleasant memories of more than just one classic. "While the pieces My Life , LAX Files and Let Us Live " the dark side of Thug-Life with darkest Gangbanger melancholy "to describe, get The Game with Ice Cube and reakwon" for neat Hood Representing [...] two veterans of gangsta Rap [to compensate] in the boat. “In addition to the numerous well-known guest rappers, the“ producer line-up [...] consists only of heavyweights from the scene. “Ex- Blink-182 -drummer Travis Barker turns out to be “ an extremely good 808 replacement ” on Dope Boys , who makes “ the track one of the highlights of the album ”. Even Money belongs " thanks to the really well-produced electric guitar beat and the Betty Wright vocal sample " one of the " best songs of the album. “Furthermore, the song Letter To The King , an“ Ode to Martin Luther King ”,“ is completely out of the ordinary.
