Blood Moon: Year of the Wolf is a compilation album by the American rapper The Game . It was released on October 14, 2014 for the foundation of his new label Blood Money Entertainment and was also released on the labels eOne Music and Ca $ h Machine Records as a standard and limited edition.

The Game itself, Stat Quo and Cash Jones served as executive producers on the album . The Mekanics contributed three beats to the album. The other songs were produced by a variety of music producers , including DJ Mustard , Boi-1da, Cozmo, Duke Dinero, Isabella Summers, Jereme Jay, Jordan Mosley, Matthew Burnett, Nottz , Ocean & Nova, Rey Reel, Antwan Thompson, League of Starz and Sap.

Cover design

The album cover shows a girl wearing a red dress and pointing to a white wolf sitting in front of her with the same tattoo as The Game (a red star with black letters LA ) on her cheek . In the upper part of the picture there is the red logo of The Game and the black lettering Blood Moon and Year of the Wolf . The background is completely white.

The rapper Dubb is represented four times and the singer Eric Bellinger and the rapper Tyga also have several guest appearances. It is "despite some weaker tracks, sometimes a bit exaggerated use of autotune and overused hooks by R'n'B bards Chris Brown, Eric Bellinger and Co." a good sampler overall. Above all, the songs The Purge and Bigger Than Me as well as The Games Versatility are praised, whereas Kollegah's guest contribution is described as "uninspired and inappropriate".
