Hello Robbie! was a German television series , the first program of which was broadcast on December 29, 2001 on ZDF . It is about the sea lion Robbie and plays on the island of Rügen .

Dr. As a marine biologist, Jens Lennart heads a breeding station for seals on the island of Rügen . He is divorced and has a ten year old daughter, Laura. She lives with him on the farm of the farmers Frauke and Uwe Marten. The Marten family rents out holiday apartments to guests and gets on very well with Lennart. Laura is friends with Kai, Martens' son. Together they have little adventures and prefer to play with the sea lion Robbie, who was rescued from smugglers' hands. The Lennarts and Martens quickly took her into their hearts and Robbie lives in a family group like a dog.
After Carla Dux joined Jens Lennart as assistant, it wasn't long before the two became a couple. Lennart's ex-wife Ulli initially stayed in Berlin after the divorce, where her daughter visits her occasionally. To be closer to her daughter, she later moves in with her friend Dr. Carsten Reuter near Stralsund, who opens a practice there where she works as a doctor's assistant. She marries Carsten Reuter and tries to get Jens to dispute custody of Laura. She also wants to send Laura (against her will) to friends in San Francisco for a year, which leads to an argument between mother and daughter.
In 2004 the Martens had a little daughter: Lisa. Meanwhile, Carla goes to the marine aquarium in Vancouver for a few weeks. She is represented in the rearing station by Heike Collmann, the niece of lawyer Collmann, who is also the chairman of the seal station association. When she comes back next year, Jens makes her pregnant. However, after a fall, she miscarries, which becomes the beginning of a crisis in their relationship. Lennart later started a relationship with the doctor Dr. Anne Templin. She came to Seehagen from Munich to take over a doctor's practice there and brought her nephew Max and niece Pauline with her, who recently lost their parents. The children become friends with Robbie and are often with them at the Martenhof.
Frauke Marten flies with her cousin to South Africa to open a will and dies in a car accident there. Uwe Marten has to run the farm alone and take care of his two children.
When Dr. Jens Lennart receives a long-awaited research assignment in Spitzbergen, explains Dr. Florian Hellberg, marine biologist and old student friend of Jens immediately ready to run the seal station in Seehagen on his behalf. He has an uncomplicated, honest and open manner, with which he is equally well received by the islanders. But he doesn't get along well with John Collmann, chairman of the seal station's friends' association, because Hellberg also fights for animal and nature protection and sometimes likes to go unconventional ways. Anne and Laura stay on Rügen and are very concerned when contact with the research station in Spitsbergen is lost. Karsten Speck was sentenced to a lengthy prison term in 2004 for real estate fraud.
