Till Demtrøder (born May 6, 1967 in Hamburg ) is a German actor , audio book , dubbing and advertising speaker , presenter and author . He also founded the ExperiArts Entertainment event company as a benefit organizer.

Life

Till Demtrøder grew up in Hamburg-Rahlstedt as the son of an architect.

At the age of eleven he played for the first time in the film adaptation of the novella Am Südhang by Eduard von Keyserling under director Michael Verhoeven . Numerous films followed as a child star. After graduating from high school in Rahlstedt in Hamburg, he actually wanted to become a journalist , but then studied acting in Hamburg from 1986 to 1989.

Demtrøder became known through roles in the successful television series Der Landarzt , Blankenese , Hallo Robbie! and metropolitan area . In the metropolitan area , he played the role of the civil investigator Henning Schulz since 1992 . After 17 years, he left the series in autumn 2009. Also since 1992, until the end of the series, he played a recurring supporting role in the television series The Country Doctor .

As a voice actor, Demtrøder has lent his voice to the stars in many international cinema and television films as well as in numerous foreign TV series; so he is also the German voice of Callan Mulvey in the series Heartbreak High . He also played the role of Carth Onasi in the computer games Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords .

He also works as a speaker for audio books, for which he has already received several awards. Among other things, he spoke several characters in the radio play series The three ??? or in an episode of DiE DR3i and the radio play series by TKKG . His voice can also be heard in many radio and television commercials.

He has been organizing the Rügen Cross Country since 2006 and the Tirol Cross Mountain since 2009. Demtrøder has been active as a musher for some time and has been organizing the Baltic Lights , a dog sled race on Usedom , with his event agency ExperiArts Entertainment GmbH, since February 2016 .

In the 2016 season of the Karl May Games in Bad Segeberg , he was set for the role of Old Shatterhand in the production of Der Schatz im Silbersee .

Till Demtrøder is married and has three daughters. He has lived on a farm near Großhansdorf since 2015.

In 2018 he promotes volunteer as boat steward for the rescue crews to the GMRS .
