Ladislav Strompf (born March 10, 1969 in Krompachy , Czechoslovakia ) is a former German - Slovak ice hockey player who played on the position of defender . During his career he was active in the 1st Bundesliga for Eintracht Frankfurt , EV Landshut and Eisbären Berlin . In the German Ice Hockey League he went on the ice for the Frankfurt Lions .

Career

In Germany, Ladislav Strompf played for the first time in the 1989/90 season for the Eintracht Frankfurt ice hockey department in the 1st Bundesliga . In total, he played two seasons for Eintracht, before he moved to their league rivals in Landshut for the 1991/92 season. After a season in Landshut, he signed a two-year contract with Eisbären Berlin, with whom he also competed in the 1st Bundesliga.

After the 1st Bundesliga was replaced by the German Ice Hockey League for the 1994/95 season , Strompf moved to the Frankfurt Lions for two seasons. Subsequently, he found his sporting home in the second-rate 1st League North and the 2nd Bundesliga , where he initially played for three and a half years in the ranks of the EHC Neuwied . Since the club had to file for bankruptcy in the 1999/00 season and stop playing, he stayed in the league and played one and a half seasons for ERC Ingolstadt . After Strompf won the championship in the first division with Neuwied in 1997 and 1998 , he succeeded in winning the title again with Ingolstadt in 2001 .

For the 2001/02 season , the defender moved within the league to the Heilbronner Falken and one season later to EC Bad Tölz . Strompf ended his active career in the league at SC Mittelrhein-Neuwied, for which he ran for three years from the 2003/04 season. During this time he held the position of team captain , which he had already held in the previous season of the predecessor club EHC Neuwied.
