development

After four years of cooperation between the Italian architect and designer Luigi Sturchio and the German shipyard Blohm + Voss , the ship was launched in 1990. It is 105 meters long and has a large swimming pool with a retractable roof, a Sikorsky S-76 helicopter and a dining table over 20 meters long, designed by Viscount Linley . The cost is estimated at approximately $ 200 million.

On July 4, 2006, the cruise ship New Flamenco collided with the Lady Moura in the port of Ibiza and severely damaged the luxury yacht. The repair work took around six months. In May 2007 the ship ran aground off Cannes and was slightly damaged.
