The Lainbach , also Laingraben , is a 3 km long brook that rises on the north side of the western slope of the Hirschhörnlkopf at about 1200 m and flows into the Kochelsee . The Lainbach Falls lie on him .

These waterfalls are not to be confused with the nearby Lainbach Falls of another Lainbach in the municipality of Benediktbeuern , which drains into the Loisach below the Kochelsee.
