The Lake Naujan National Park is located near the town of Naujan in the province of Oriental Mindoro in the Philippines . It covers an area of ​​13,011 hectares, which covers most of the Naujan Lake. It is regarded as the initial component of the National Integrated Protected Areas System of the Philippines. The Lake Naujan National Park is one of six nature reserves of the Philippines as Ramsar sites have been designated.

The lake is located in the northeast of the island of Mindoro and has an extension of 14 by 7 km. It is about eight kilometers from the coastline, separated by a range of hills.

Naujan Lake is a freshwater lake of volcanic origin, on its south side there are thermal springs , its maximum depth is about 45 meters. The surrounding areas cover forests, heaths and grasslands, interspersed with fruit and coconut palm plantations . A center for research into afforestation is located on the south side of the lake.

The livelihoods of the population are agriculture and fishing. In the lake there are populations of the cichlid genus Oreochromis , gobies , carp fish , freshwater shrimp and sea snails. In the area of the NP are populations of Philippine Duck , the Plate Taube , the Mindoro pigeon (Ducula mindorensis) , the spotted Fruchttaube ( Ducula Carola ), the Rotsteißkakadus (Cacatua haematuropygia) , the Mindorokuckucks (Centropus steerii) , the Mindoro horn bird (Penelopides mindorensis ) , the Mindorodrossel (Zoothera cinerea) and the Mindoromistelfresser (Dicaeum retrocinctum) have been observed.
