The Lambach is 6.3 km long, right tributary of the Loper Bach in Gummersbach and Engelskirchen , North Rhine-Westphalia ( Germany ).

course

The source of the Lambach is located on the southern slope of the 436.7 m high Gummershardt , about 750 m west of Gummeroth at 362  m above sea level. NHN . From here it flows in a southerly direction. The stream is repeatedly forced to change the direction of the flow by the surrounding mountains. Several smaller streams flow from the slopes of these mountains to it on both sides. Shortly before its union with the Agger , the Lambach flows at 159  m above sea level. NHN into the Loper Bach , which flows 200 meters further into the dammed Agger.

On its 6.2 km long path from the source to the mouth, the difference in altitude is 210 meters, which corresponds to a mean bed gradient of 33.9 ‰.

The Lambachtal is located in an extensive mixed forest area and is always accompanied by a hiking trail. In its entire course, especially in the lower reaches, the Lambach feeds numerous ponds for breeding trout .
